This person leads a creative team to develop strategic marketing plans, both long- and short-term, that incorporate and enhance every piece of the graduate and online recruitment lifecycle and aligns with the overall University of Kansas brand. The associate director manages the programs, projects, functions and processes of executing these plans in collaboration with the Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications, the Associate Director of Undergraduate & Transfer Marketing, writers, editors, designers, digital/multimedia specialists, data/market analysts, enablement, internal departments, and external vendors.

The Associate Director of Graduate & Online Marketing brings creative vision to marketing plans to recruit graduate and online students, strategically recommends tactics and messages in a variety of media and channels, reports and identifies metrics to evaluate performance and recommend enhancements, and produces high-quality work that meets and exceeds established KPIs, enrollments goals, brand standards and budgets. An ideal associate director is a visionary motivator, detail-oriented, an excellent and understanding communicator, and good at balancing competing workplace demands.
